Everyone in Kildress was delighted to see our own Una McGlinchey pick up one of the 2016 Ulster GAA President’s Awards last Saturday night at a major event in the Slieve Russell Hotel.
These Awards (handed out this year by our Ulster President Michael Hasson from Rasharkin) recognise Gaels who make and have made a major contribution to Gaelic games. Una, a past Rounders All-Star, was given one of the President’s Special Merit Awards for her outstanding contribution to Rounders.
It’s a great honour for Una, her family, our Club and our Parish. Well done Una: go maire tú é, is go gcaithe tú é, agus seacht gcinn nios fear na é!
