Kildress’ recent pattern of exceptional, thrill-a-minute underage games continued this morning as our Minor Girls won a wonderful League Semi-Final with Trillick by 3-16 to 7-3.
This was a most amazing game that tested the stamina of everybody involved, particularly that of the spectators who were lucky enough to be there to see it. At one stage The Tones led by 11 points yet with five minutes to go Trillick seemed to have achieved the impossible and actually led by five points, a remarkable 16-point turnaround. Our team however is never one for wilting and they raised themselves yet again for Chloe Tracey to score a goal with the last kick of the game to send us through to the Final on a one-point margin. Last Sunday morning a last minute goal beat our Under 16 Boys … a week later a last minute goal wins it for our Minor Girls.

Kildress will now meet Ardboe in the League Final.
