This was a game of two halves with Kildress very much in the ascendancy during the first half. Shea Quinn and Pauric Lagan opened the scoring with points apiece. The big score of the half came in the 20th minute when Philip Lennon fired low to the net after some great approach play by Michael Crawley. Shea Murphy, Shea Quinn, Caolan McNamee and Johnny Connolly added points to leave the Tones six ahead at half time.
The second half belonged to Stewartstown scoring six unanswered points to draw level at the end of the third quarter. Kildress did battle hard in the final quarter but a breakaway goal for Stewartstown in the 27th minute sealed the win.
Conor McAleer was sound in goals while Johnny Connolly, Corey Holland and Michael Crawley were best in defence. Philip Lennon worked hard in midfield, Shea Quinn and Corey Holland the pick of the forwards.

Reserve League – Kildress 3-17 Stewartstown 1-5
The Reserves unbeaten season continued when they accounted for Stewartstown with ease. The Tones led at half time but turned the screw in comprehensive second half.
In defence Shea McNamee, Aaron Keenan and Liam Gilligan put in great performances whilst upfront the Tones had good performances from Oisin McDonald, Cathal Heagney and Eoin Branigan. Also Captain Aidan McAleer led the Tones well to victory.
