Owen Roes were the visitors to Gortacladdy for our latest league fixture and after a well contested game the Tones came out with a victory by the narrowest of margins. Shea Quinn opened the scoring with a point from a mark. They added a further six points before half time the pick of them a great strike from Philip Lennon to lead 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.

The second half was low scoring with defences generally on top and with the score tied at 0-8 apiece for quite a while it was the home side that got their noses in front.  Two points one a free and an excellent long range score from Pauric Lagan which turned out to be the match winner saw Kildress over the line.

It was a good all round team performance with Cormac Loughran, Conor Quinn, Calum Holland and Jack Loughran best in a strong defensive unit. Caolan McNamee was impressive in midfield while Pauric Lagan, Shea Quinn and Shea Loughran were best in attack.
