The seniors travelled to Drumragh last night hoping to get a valuable two league points but in the end had to settle for one. The Tones got off to a good start with an early goal from Corey Holland and a couple of outstanding long-range points from Pauric Lagan. Drumragh battled back with several points to lead by one at half time. HT: Drumragh 0-10 Kildress 1-6.
The second half was closely contested with Drumagh holding onto a narrow lead most of the way. The visitors were reduced to thirteen men during the final ten minutes and showed great heart to grab a draw. Johnny Connolly and Caolan McNamee both giving them the lead in added time with Drumragh getting a late late equaliser. C
Conor McAleer, Calum Holland and Niall Connolly were strong in defence while Caolan McNamee turned in a fine performance in the midfield. Pauric Lagan and Shea Quinn stood out in attack.

The Reserves continued their unbeaten season with a comprehensive win against a gallant home side. The Tones where captained by the prolific Paul Connolly on the night, Connolly, Matty Mullin & Tiarnan McNally led an impressive Tones attack. There was a lively second half showing from Oggy Quinn at midfield who was well supported by MJ Connolly in a more defensive role. It was also a good night at the back led by the returning Chrissy McKenna and Tiernan McNamee.
Next up for the Ressies is an all-important game versus Aghyaran.
