We’re definitely seeing football at Gortacladdy these days like we’ve never seen it before and our girls produced yet another rip-roaring contest on Monday night, eventually falling by 4-7 to 4-10 to Ardboe in the Minor Championship.
Kildress reached half-time two points down, 2-5 to 3-4 after a half that didn’t give anybody time to draw breath. If anything the second half quality got even better with brilliant play and scores from both sides. In the end Ardboe just edged it but with many players still underage next year, Kildress’ future is bright if the same effort and commitment are shown.
