We’ve been treated to a series of thrilling games at Gortacladdy over the past week and at last we’ve had one of them that’s gone our way with this 0-14 to 0-11 win over Killeshil by our U14 Boys in this morning’s Championship Quarter-Final. Kildress, with the bit of wind advantage that was going, led by 0-8 to 0-4 at half-time and were never headed in the second half despite plenty of fine play from a strong Killeeshil side. Two late points clinched a deserved win for The Tones who hit the post or bar three different times in a second half that kept everybody thoroughly entertained.
