To represent your Club and County are the ultimate in Gaelic games, so we’re delighted to see our fellow Kildress Gaels Adam Connolly and Matty McGuigan take their places with the Tyrone Minors travelling to face Derry in the first round of the Ulster Minor Championship in Celtic Park on Sunday.
Twenty-five years ago Sean Treacy and Colman Mulgrew made the same journey to the same venue with the same team in the same competition … and came home with a fine victory. So, no pressure at all, men! Adam and Matty are already Ulster Minor League winners with Tyrone this year, as well as Jim McGuigan Cup (Ulster Under 17) winners from last year. They continue to do our Club and Parish proud. Maith sibh!
