Intermediate League – Cookstown 1-11 Kildress 4-6

The seniors got back to winning ways when they travelled to neighbours Cookstown for the latest round of league games. Kildress got off to a great start with three first half goals and led 3-5 to 0-4 at halftime. Philip Lennon with two goals and his midfield partner Caolan McNamee netting the other. Cookstown were more competitive in the second half and an early goal give them a foothold in the game. However the Tones held firm and a second goal from Caolan McNamee this a fine individual effort gave them the space to see the game out. Cormac Loughran was outstanding in defence with Johnny Connolly and Michael Crawley also showing well. Caolan McNamee and Philip Lennon impressed in midfield as well as sharing all four goals. Shea Tracey, Shea Murphy and Pauric Lagan were best in attack.

Reserve League – Cookstown 1-7 Kildress 2-12

The Reserves went on their travels to Cookstown with there unbeaten season at stake. The Tones led at half time and helped with a strong second half performance they took the points on offer.

In defence Stevie McGurk returned from injury and bagged himself a goal, in the middle of the park MJ Connolly was impressive whilst upfront the Tones had a great spread of scorers and where led by captain Eoin Branigan.
