Intermediate League – Gortin 0-10 Kildress 0-10

This was a very well contested match which was level six times and never more than two points between the sides, a game no one deserved to lose. Kildress opened the scoring with a Shea Murphy free and when the home side levelled Shea Tracey put his side ahead with an excellent point from play. Further points from Murphy, Shea Quinn and Caolan McNamee helped the Tones reach half time level at five points each. The second half followed the same pattern with Eoin Brannigan, Quinn and Murphy on the score sheet and with time up Gortin held a one point lead. Shea Quinn came to the rescue with a long range free in injury time to level matters. Kildress were best served by Jack Loughran, Calum Holland, Philip Lennon and Johnny Connolly in defence while in attack Shea Murphy, Shea Quinn and Caolan McNamee were most effective.
